About Museum of the Future
Designed by Killa Design and opened in February 2022, the Museum of the Future is wrapped in 1,024 stainless-steel panels carved with Arabic calligraphy by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. The torus-shaped building — a hollow oval ring — has become one of Dubai's most recognisable landmarks.
Seven immersive floors take visitors aboard a fictional space station called OSS Hope set in 2071, through the HEAL Institute's biodiversity vault, and into interactive wellness and climate-resilience experiences. There is no traditional collection — the museum is entirely experiential.
The OSS Hope floor simulates a space station with views of Earth and missions to the Moon and Mars. The Tomorrow Today gallery showcases emerging technologies from global innovators.
Timed tickets sell out fast — book weeks ahead. The building sits beside Emirates Towers on Sheikh Zayed Road, visible from the Red Line metro.
