About Yekaterinburg Museum of Fine Arts
Founded in 1936, the museum split from the Sverdlovsk Local History collection. It now occupies two riverfront buildings on the Iset embankment.
Its most famous treasure is the Kasli Cast-Iron Pavilion, awarded the Grand Prix at the 1900 Paris World's Fair, alongside Russian and Western European painting.
